What to Expect
When you’re just looking for a basic Irish pub with decent bar food on Fremont Street, Hennessey’s Tavern is the place to go. Nestled with Mickie Finnz, Brass Lounge and Las Vegas Country Saloon beneath the world’s largest pint glass, Hennessey’s features indoor and outdoor patio seating. If the weather permits, grab a table outside and you’re likely to get some free entertainment via the variety of oddballs wandering by on Fremont Street.
Whether you’re interested in grabbing a Guinness, a shot of Jameson or something decidedly less Irish, Hennessey’s has you covered. This Irish chain features a full bar and a reasonable selection of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and burgers.
Except when bands are playing (after 9:30 most nights), the volume in Hennessey’s Tavern is typically more conducive to conversations than many of the bars on Fremont Street. Service can be a bit on the slow side but if you’re looking for a leisurely pint or meal, it’s a great option.

Their signage makes it impossible to miss. Good but not amazing beer selection. Food like Reubens, burgers, were coming out. Might be a great lunch spot. Worth checking out.
Live music on a weekday – seems like management is trying hard. Too bad the servers were not. Went in and despite three waitresses standing around had to wait for service. The bartender spent more time outside on the porch smoking than behind the bar. Will not be back.
This is a great place to sit outside in the morning, have some eggs and sausage and a bunch of Bloody Mary’s. My first stop in the morning. Just wish they would open earlier!
Have eaten here a couple of times. Good mid-range pub food. Great bloody Mary’s and a decent tap selection. Have only been here during the day so cannot comment on the vibe in the evening.
