What to Expect
Fremont features four casino bars:
- The Bar: This single-sided wall-set bar is located near Lanai Express and the table game pit. It includes video poker machines, so you can drink free if you’re gambling. Specials include $2 Heineken and Corona bottles; $2 Jager shots; $3 Red Bull vodka; $4 Red Bull Jager shots; and 99 cent margaritas.
- Sports Bar: Located next to the sports book, this bar features several small TVs and video poker. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 3-11 p.m.; Friday 2 p.m. – 1 a.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 1 a.m. Same specials as The Bar.
- Tony Roma’s: This chain restaurant known mostly for ribs also includes a small bar. Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 4:30-11 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 4:30 p.m. until midnight.
- Second Street Grill: Another Fremont restaurant, Second Street Grill includes a small bar. Hours are Sunday, Monday and Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 5-11 p.m.

The 99 cent margaritas are a good value, though certainly not spectacular. One curiosity about them is the cups – they’re factory-salted. Somehow, a cup factory has figured out how to perfectly salt the rim of a plastic cup! Dig 99 cents out of your couch and check it out, with a margarita at the Fremont!
