Work on Park on Fremont, the new restaurant, bar and beer garden replacing Maharaja Hookah Cafe is well underway. Although the Maharaja sign has been removed from the front of the building, the larger parking lot sign remains in place.
The interior is being gutted from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. There’s a long way to go before the scheduled October opening.
We spotted the first official on-site Park on Fremont logo already in use. Viva commerce!
Update: The City of Las Vegas posted this Park rending on its Business Development Facebook page today. It looks rather quaint and inviting. The update also listed the projected opening date as “near the end of 2012.”
